Elario Incorporated Announces the Selection of Key Management Personnel
ALISO VIEJO, California October 9, 2001 Elario Incorporated, a new Research and Development firm that recognizes the distinct advantages of being early innovators within the software architecture and development industry, today announced the inauguration of key management personnel.
Elario has appointed a key management team to oversee the companys rapid growth. The team has noteworthy management experience in high-growth organizations, the experience of two successful start-ups, and a solid commitment to creating groundbreaking products that will meet present and future business needs.
The management team also brings to the business the experience of positions held at Microsoft, MAI Systems Corporation, Interactive Computer Systems, and Graphic Communications, as well as having successfully negotiated mutually beneficial partnerships with companies such as International Paper, Lands End, Xerox, and J. Walter Thompson Worldwide.
Collectively, Elarios management team conceives both the short- and long-term strategic vision of the company and focuses on achieving the important goals of: rapidly creating and releasing unique and effective business solutions, developing strategic alliances and partnerships with industry leaders, sustained growth, and profitability.
Martin D. Weel
President, Founder, Chief Technology Officer
Martin D. Weel, who began his career at Microsoft Corporation, founded Elario. Marty left Microsoft to found n-Tier Software that later merged with Nextier Solutions, a consulting and software development firm, where he designed and developed EZ-Suite a unique, web-based collaborative e-commerce solution targeted specifically to the global paper, printing, catalog, and magazine publishing industry.
In 2001, Marty successfully negotiated the sale of Nextier to International Paper. Nextier now operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of International Paper and is managed as one of the companys e-business initiatives that provides supply chain management solutions for all trading partners involved in the paper industry.
Mark A. Townsell
Co-founder, VP Research and Development
Mark Townsell is a co-founder of Elario. Mark leads the Elario technical team and has more than 21 years experience in managing development projects, including the development of system level software (operating systems, database engines, and networking) as well as applications. He has earned degrees from Washington University in St. Louis, MO. and from the University of California at Irvine.
John S. Reynard
Co-founder, Chief Operating Officer
John Reynard is a co-founder of Elario and was also a co-founder of Nextier Solutions. Prior to Nextier, he worked in Sales and Support at Graphic Communications, the largest paper broker in the United States, where he automated their CRM Internet systems. John is a graduate of Stanford University and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree.
